Afropunk Ball

As advocates striving to recalibrate the scales of justice, the goal is to create unique programming that encourages diversity in media; broader access to the arts; and a strong give back to our communities through volunteer service. Our vision is to push forward in these areas to produce dynamic gains that shift collective thought from a place of bias and biased policy making, to a landscape that fosters inclusionary practices celebrating a robust, gifted and diverse sector of humanity.

Please join us on Friday, August 21st, 2015 at the first annual AFROPUNK BALL for a very special evening of live music, art, and philanthropy in Commodore Barry Park. The evening will be held to raise funds for the AFROPUNK Global Initiative, which dedicates itself to the promotion of diversity in media and the arts in addition to volunteer service.
